REGISTRATION
Please note the registration deadline for the COP/MOP is May 1, 2008.
The process to register NEW organizations who are not accredited with the CBD is below:
(1) Send a letter, on letterhead to the Secretariat [secretariat@cbd.int]. This letter should describe what your organization does in relation to the CBD, and it helps to send brochures and other supporting material.
(2) In this letter list the names of the people attending the conference, their contact information too.
(3) Indicate in the letter if you need a letter of invitation for VISA purposes.
For NGOs and others who have been before:
(1) send a letter to the SCBD [secretariat@cbd.int], on letterhead, with the names and contact information for all people coming.

ACCOMMODATION
It is recommended that hotel reservations (handled by Tourismus & Congress GmbH on a first come, first served basis) be done by 1 April 2008.
