Update re: COP 9 and MOP/COP 4

All,

Please see here for an update on preparatory events for civil society the weekend before COP. Open to all civil society groups. Full agendas available from me [jdempsey AT interchange.ubc.ca]. Location information here.

The CBD Alliance has also launched a media advisory briefing, available here. It is a very useful briefing of some of the issues up for negotiation, in clear and simple language. Check it out.

We also just finished the first ECO for the MOP/COP 4 - check it out here.

More updates soon, although most of the action will take place on www.undercovercop.org which we hope will be fully functioning later this week, just in time for the COP.
