You will have to register to attend this meeting, so please arrive early. Please note from the Secretariat:

"Conference badges with photographs will be issued at the registration counter located  at
999 University from Saturday, 5 November onward, from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.  

Badges will be issued at the registration counter upon presentation of a valid passport or

(Indigenous Peoples International Centre for Policy Research and Education

 Tebtebba sees the establishment of IPBES, as an opportunity for indigenous peoples and local communities to play a critical role in strengthening the knowledge platform to address the biodiversity and ecosystems crisis. In turn, collaboration with IPBES on assessments, knowledge generation and capacity-building activities would enhance indigenous peoples’ own knowledge and understanding, relevant for territorial and ecosystem management efforts and local livelihoods.
